How to use up Stale Bread – Part 1

Part One /:) … it’s not a series going on here, just that I prepared couple of dishes using up few stale slices of expensive Multigrain Bread which was lying in my refrigerator for a more than a week. And I plan to post them in two posts so Part One :P So how do you use up Stale Bread? If by any chance you throw it, please do not do it the next time. Bread is a good adherer so I normally use it in a Tikki, tomato omelette or thalipeeth. I experimented with this weird dish which can be christened as “Omelette Thalipeeth”, as the final output looked like a hybrid between Thalipeeth and Omelette. Ignore the prehistoric snap of my poor omelette but this is my regular omelette . I crumbled the stale bread along with the other ingredient in this and so newborn “Omelette Thalipeeth” was born. 8-> You Do: Mix Capsicum +Onion+ Green chillies + Crumbled bread+salt + Pepper + Egg. How do you feel.. when you are the LAST ONE to Know that One of your common friend had an affair with one of your other friend OR Team member resigned couple of weeks back and today is his last day Yes, whenever I belong to this “LAST to know” group I feel .. Capsicum Cheese Omlette

My favorite breakfast - Bread Omlette ! And before I went to US I knew there are two types of Omlettes - half fry and Onion Omlette. But I was surprised when I saw our canteen chef @ clients place put what not and all in the omlette! /:) I learnt and tried various types of omlettes but my favorite among other favorites is Capsicum Cheese Omlette esp cos its very easy and most convenient to prepare. I prepare this during the Dauda Bhaga situation in morning but still it feels as if me having some type of luxurious breakfast. :D You Need: Egg - qty = as many omlettes you need Capsicum - sliced Cheese - either grated or cheese clices cut into pieces Onion - cut into very small pieces Milk - 3 tbsp Green Chili: cut into small pieces Turmeric Powder - a bit for color Salt to taste Pepper to taste You Do: 1. Confusion still ON : Few of my blogger friends suggested Personal Tadka over Kitchen Gossip as my header name. O ne O f T he fascinating aspects of food blogging is trying out unexpected and same turning out much above your expectations. Personal Tadka is really helping me expand my culinary knowledge and learn about the whole host of cuisines not only from our country but from all over the world. So when Divya gave this idea “Make tacos with a vegetarian twist by using kidney beans in place of ground meat.” for the JFI-Rajma event .
