I am planning a lunch series
from this month. I will be trying to post on daily basis my day to day lunch
that I have.
My lunch consists of -
- Bread
(Roti \ Chapati \Bhakri) - 1
- Saladin
(Koshimbir \ Kachumbar) - 1 bowl \ Katori
- Vegetable
- Sabzi (mostly dry during lunch) - 1 bowl
- Dal
\ Amti or Dahi - 1 bowl
I have been following this
portion and combination for last couple of years. And this really has helped me
to maintain my weight\stamina and also helps in lowering the hunger pangs.
Hope I am consistent in posting this regularly.
Today's lunch scenes , clockwise from down -
0️⃣ Jawar Bhakri
1️⃣ Tur dal - khatta meetha or ambat godd amti
2️⃣ Carrot salad / gajarachi koshimbir / gajar kachumbar #todaysrecipe
3️⃣ Stuffed capsicum with spiced boiled potatoes
I love colors in my salads, like today the color
was orange carrots. Especially the winter carrots are juicy and very tasty.
They are helpful to lower the cholesterol and improve eye health.
Carrot salad / gajarachi
koshimbir / gajar kachumbar
0️⃣ Wash and grate carrots.
1️⃣ Add salt, red chilli pwd, sugar for taste, lemon juice and
coriander leaves
2️⃣ Temper with tadka of asaefotida, mustard seeds, curry leaves
o a hot ghee.
Have with chapatis or just like that before
lunch.
Totally tasty and very healthy.
