Pulses + Paneer = Cutlet

These cutlets go as one of my most bizarre left over management scheme. But they tasted good – so had to go here. Main ingredient were the remains: like handful of boiled Rajma  and some crumbles of Paneer. So the outcome was mixing these both , adding some masalas and some gluey ingredient to make them into cutlets.

This doesn’t require a recipe, you can mix match anything instead of these, just add right masalas to make these.

1. Mix boiled rajma with panner – mash.
2. Add green chilies, salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves, red chilli powder and black pepper.
3. Mix boiled potatoes and\or bread slices with the mix. I also added oats and these made the patties quite crispy.
4. Make small patties of the mix.
5. Shallow fry till golden brown.

Server with ketchup or any chutney. Goes well as a healthy dainty evening chow.

Open Toast with Potato stuffing

I like to have hefty breakfast while Foodie loves light one. I prefer different breakfast daily while he prefers oats or cornflakes – same thing daily.

So we have concluded alternate weeks to be dedicated for each of us. One week only oats or cornflakes and next – daily new stuffs. But then when you decide so – you don’t get any innovative ideas.

But I’m not the one who can lose so easily :P , so I literally mix matched couple of breakfast ideas to make a new dish atleast weekly :D
Remember my Open toast sandwich – repeated it with something different.  I prepared a new main stuffing.

1. Mash boiled potato , add some finely hacked capsicum , green chillies and coriander leaves.
2. Add salt and pepper to it.
3. Now over the toasted bread, put some hand chopped salad leaves and cover with the stuffing prepared above.
4. Lavish it with grated cheese.
5. Microwave this till cheese melts and server hot with ketchup.

Easy, hale and hearty and very appealing :D
